Tři oříšky pro Popelku
Dirty-faced and scorned by everyone, the heroine of this story is transformed into a beautiful young lady who awakens the prince?s love. The surprising metamorphosis is due largely to the fulfilment of three wishes hidden in as many hazelnuts. One of the most popular Czech screen fairy-tales is set in a gloomy, snow-covered countryside. An exceptionally accomplished box-office hit, it features an international cast including several well-known German actors. The theme tune and song, performed by Czech pop star Karel Gott, has kept returning every year as a major hit of the Christmas season in the heart of Europe.
