Pohádka o Jeníčkovi a Mařence

The film chronicles the adventures of Johnny and Mary whose lives are full of heroic deeds and many great battles. Three elves accompany the simple and poor boy Johnny in his wanderings in the world. They guide him and help him with advice and magic, but they also lead him astray to test his character. One day he meets the beautiful Mary and falls in love with her. There are many traps set for the young people, and with their courage, fortitude, and faithfulness, they must defend their love against evil. Set against a backdrop of impressive images, the film tells a story about pure love and a search for peace and happiness.
