Lásky jedné plavovlásky

Miloš Forman´s second full-length feature tells the story of a young factory girl in love - and on a collision course. The girl, Andula, meets a young man, Milda, at a small-town dance. Milda is a bohemian member of a visiting music band and the two end up spending the night together. Some time later the infatuated Andula sets out on a trip to the capital to call on her lover. On arrival in Prague, however, she first stuns the fellow´s inquisitive old folks who subject her to merciless interrogation. Thanks to Forman´s feeling for the details of day-to-day life, this dark comedy of frustrated hopes and beer-barrel morals amounts to a meaningful message charting rather more than just the "mood" of the sixties.
